Michelle Sonbati is a New Jersey-based actress, director, writer, and instructor. Her stage credits include Eight in ACT’s 12 Angry Men, Narrator in Puffs, and Glory/Rhonda in Almost, Maine. As a director, Michelle has brought numerous plays and musicals to life including Legally Blonde, Into the Woods, and Little Women. She has trained at Theo Devaney Acting Studio and McCarter Theater.

In addition to her work in performance and direction, Michelle is a passionate writer and editor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Editing & Publishing from The College of New Jersey, where she also minored in Music and served as the flute section leader of the TCNJ Wind Orchestra.
Whether on stage or off, there is nothing Michelle loves more than the performing arts and watching her students grow into professionals!
